Attendance - Clock In/Out (Fichaje)
Mandatory - Spanish Law
All employees must register their working hours daily. This is required by Spanish law (Real Decreto-ley 8/2019). Failure to clock in/out may result in labor inspections and fines for the company.
How to Clock In/Out
The fastest way is from the navigation bar, available on every Odoo page:

- Look for the attendance dot in the top navigation bar (next to your avatar)
- Click it to Check In when you start working
- Click it again to Check Out when you finish
- That's it - your hours are recorded automatically
You can also go directly to Attendances to view your full attendance history.
Best Practices
- Clock in when you start working, clock out when you stop - including lunch breaks longer than 30 minutes
- If you forget to clock in or out, let your manager know so they can correct it
- Remote work counts the same - clock in from home just like you would from the office
- Make it a habit: clock in first thing, clock out last thing
